House painting as a profession has been around since the early 1200’s. In Colonial America, in the 1600’s, it was considered immoral and illegal to paint one’s house. It was seen as a demonstration of wealth and vanity. A base of water and oil was mixed with materials like coffee, iron, copper, berries and fruits, applied by handmade brushes to walls, ceilings and cornices even if it was against the law.
Since then, a lot has changed. We paint our houses regularly for a variety of reasons. You can walk into your favourite paint retailer and choose between an oil or water base, interior or exterior paint in any colour you can imagine. You have a choice between many available brands in large or small quantities. You can probably even buy paintbrushes or rollers and other tools or accessories while you’re there.
Give your house a facelift with a fresh coat of paint to enhance the curb appeal and create the look you desire. Contact Service Centurion to assist you in making the process as painless as possible.
